QUESTION:

Can women use razors to remove dirty hair i.e under their armpits?

ANSWER:

In his encyclopaedic work in the Hanafi Madhab, Bahare Shariat, Al-Imam Amjad Ali al-A’zhami (رحمة الله عليه) has mentioned concerning the removal of this hair:

“It is Sunnah to pluck the hair of the underarms and shaving it is allowed too.”
